These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pitchwits website and platform operated by Pitchwits Ltd ("Pitchwits", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

Pitchwits provides funding advisory services and an AI-assisted platform for R&D-heavy tech startups. Our services include grant application drafting, fundraising strategy, pitch deck development, and due diligence preparation.

Account registration

To use the Pitchwits platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false or misleading information in grant applications or company profiles
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
  • Use the platform to develop competing products or services

Intellectual property

Content you create on the platform (grant applications, documents, etc.) remains your intellectual property. You grant Pitchwits a limited licence to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

The Pitchwits platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Pitchwits Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-generated content

Our platform uses AI to assist with content generation. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be reviewed and verified before submission to any funding body. Pitchwits does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or success of AI-generated applications.

Payments and subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are presented at the time of purchase.

Limitation of liability

Pitchwits provides advisory tools and services but does not guarantee funding outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitchwits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
